About Our Session
I do a variety of shots, from posed and styled to candid and playful. The best part of photography is capturing those special moments that could otherwise be missed while focusing on trying to get a smile at the camera, such as the look of adoration of a mother at her daughter, a sneaky smile of a little one
When scheduling your session, we will choose a location that best fits your family, whether it’s at a local park or at your home. We will discuss how to help your family prepare for our time together, as well as talk about how to personalize our shoot to be exactly what you’re looking for. If you have a special item you would like to include, that’s great! Bring it along. I will gladly work with your ideas. I want you to leave knowing you will have art you can proudly display in your home.
I don’t stress about the time during our session.
Generally, sessions take about an hour, but I work with your little ones. I give them time to warm up to me and get comfortable being in front of the camera. I’m new to them, and I understand that. Breaks for snacks or snuggles is fine with me. I have kids, so I get it! Prior to the meeting, I like to discuss your child’s likes and dislikes. This way I can use what they like to get on their level. I’ll even bring some props they can play with to help open them up.
Our session is guaranteed. If your child is having an off day and it’s just not going well, we’ll reschedule at no additional cost to you. My name is Stacey, and I am the owner of Stacey Hampton Photography. Together we can create memories to cherish in the years to come.
Basic Mini Session
includes 5 images- This is our short and sweet session. Mini sessions are perfect for those times when you want updated photos but don’t need an entire gallery. These minis can make any opportunity into a photo session. These are always fun for me, as I love meeting new families who want to try a lifestyle session or returning families looking for a fun and simple session. These are also great to document a change in scenery (think Autumn with all the beautiful leaves).
Maternity Session
includes 10 images- The maternity session is recommended for women around 30–35 weeks of pregnancy. This is usually when mom-to-be is feeling at her best and her belly is nice and round. Each pregnancy is different though, so we can discuss the best time for you when we plan our session. Dad-to-be and siblings are encouraged to participate in some photos. Outfit changes are okay also. This photo shoot can be done at your home to include photos of the nursery, or at another location.
Basic Family Session
includes 10 images- Family sessions are so enjoyable to photograph. I love detailing each person’s personality and the special interaction between everyone….what makes you who you are as a family. I’m capturing memories you’ll look back on and reminisce with love. Depending on the weather, we can plan to meet at a local park, a place that’s special to your family, or at your home. If you have any special photos in mind, we’ll make it happen. Our sessions are stress-free. I do not rush children, as they are just getting to know me. I want to give them time to get comfortable and have fun!
Newborn Session
includes 10 images- I offer two different newborn sessions: lifestyle and posed. Lifestyle is more of capturing images around your home with your new baby, with simple candid shots and some posed. I would bring some props with me but would really plan to capture the newness of your growing family. The posed session is scheduled within the first 10-15 days after birth. I would bring along a variety of props and we would discuss in advance any specific colors or themes you would like to incorporate.
Extended Family
includes 15 images- These sessions are perfect for the multi-generational and extended families! Perhaps there is an upcoming anniversary, family reunion or
other special event . This is the perfect time to capture relationship images between family members— siblings, grandchildren all together, etc. When scheduling these sessions, I like to schedule a phone call prior tomeeting to discuss any ideas you may have regardingposes, and to also get a list together of family members so we are all set for our time together.
Images included are digital images ready to share or to print, color corrected and edited, and delivered in an online gallery. You can download your images and order prints.
Special Events
Having an anniversary party? A surprise party? Baby’s first birthday party? I would love to document the day for you in photos. I will photograph everything from the decor, cake/desserts, and party guests, so you don’t have to do a thing but enjoy your day. Message me for pricing details.
